We collected your memories – childhood memories, uplifting and upsetting memories, as well as memories that have been passed down through the generations – and fed them into an AI brain dubbed MNEMOS, after Mnemosyne, the Greek goddess of Memory. MNEMOS, a version of the VQGAN-CLIP algorithm, has been trained on millions of moments long passed.

MNEMOS has translated deep and intense memories into compelling, hauntingly nostalgic works of art, named MemoryGRAMs or Generated Random Art Memories. The irony is, that it is through a machine that we are able to explore our empathy.
