"Snow Days In NYC" is a collection of 42 images, all 1/1s that document 6 years of work capturing NYC during some of the harshest weather conditions.

When most people think of Snow Days, they think of staying warm inside, watching movies, and drinking hot chocolate. To a photographer a Snow Day means getting up before the storm hits, layering up in an ungodly amount of clothes, making sure your batteries are charged, your memory cards are empty, and hitting the streets.

Being out in a storm on near empty city streets brings a sense of child-like joy to us photographers. It feels like the city is our own. We search out the other brave souls that are commuting through the face-numbing cold and snow. These people become our focal points. Their unconventional commutes become a snapshot in time.

All of the images are cropped at 16x9 to add more of a cinematic feel to the collection.
