Desert Lines by Asef Azi

My photography journey began at the university where I studied architecture. One semester my teacher assigned me a project about an architectural heritage in which I needed to visit a city and make a photographic documentary out of it. I had no option but to borrow a camera from my friend. That was the first time I laid hands on a professional DSLR camera and boom! My life got changed! After a short while, I decided to choose photography as my primary career!

So as an Architecture-Educated Photographer, it's always fascinating to me to find geometry elements in nature. The most interesting element for me is LINE. The lines in nature are easy to find but my goal in this project was to find better forms of lines which I call "Fine Lines". To achieve this goal, I chose desert dunes because of the curved lines, and I decided to shoot at sunset, so that the contrast of lights and shadows create more Fine Lines!
