Project52 - Djamila Fierek Genesis

Djamila grew up in the 60th with her Hippie family in the town of Wiesbaden, Germany. At the early age of 4, 52 years ago she started to paint. Going back and forth between the United States and Germany she developed a deep understanding and passion for colors while constantly going on road trips through the United States. As a free spirit, she was able to paint all her life until now, so she is ready for her Genesis collection "Project 52", which shows her love to America , their vintage icons and the variety of intense colors. Spending plenty of time in Las Vegas, which is close to her second home, Scottsdale, Arizona, she decided to adapt for her project one of the most famous games in the world, Poker. Why? A Pokerdeck has 52 cards, a year has 52 weeks and so on. 52 is a magical number in numerology .... The vibrant life of Las Vegas, with all the neon lights, the shows and spectacles was for me the perfect influence and scenery. With all the phenomenons attractions, shows, gambling in the one of a kind in the world casinos, where you can meet, International icons on their stages , like Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Siegfried and Roy, Liberace, and Stars from today. In this "Sin city", everything is possible, but " What Happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas "
