Mos maiorum.

This collection embodies the spirit of the «mos maiorum», wanting to revive the wisdom and the culture of the ancients through a classical aesthetic created with modern technologies: in fact, the culture of ancient Rome is both traditional and innovative at the same time.

«Mos maiorum» in Ancient Rome literally meant “conduct of life of the ancestors”: this embraced all the traditional values handed down over the years. The main five values were virtus (“virtue”, “honesty”), pietas (“piety”), fides (“faith”), maiestas (“greatness”), gravitas (“seriousness”, “dignity”, “authority”). Central in «mos maiorum» was the spirit of sacrifice both in work and war. Every citizen and above all every politician had to conform to these sacred values.
