Solid Dreams

The Solid Dreams project consists of details or part of buildings that are etracted from context and transformed into more abstract images where the geometry of the components is exhalted. Lights and shades are used to endow the images of a dreamlike and ambigous metaphysics. The goal is to trigger a reflection on the interactions between space and forms and how they are perceived.
The artistic inspiration can be traced back to the Italian metaphysics painters, to the complicated geometries of Escher and the ambiguities in some works of Magritte.
